I don't think thumbing your nose at your neighbors is all that wise. Especially considering North Korea isn't all that far away.

Ha - where I grew up in London, UK, all the signs locally said "A nuclear free borough" - never mind that it was the most heavily targetted site for Soviet ICBMs in Britain!

I live in Vancouver, and this sign is hysterical. They are doing things to get ready for the 2010 Olympics. I'm sure that will hit the wallets of the tax payers hard.

they put up uber fancy new sign last week where this one used to be, highlight the 2010 theme of rain pride. i'd rather be proud of being nuclear free. yah taxes!!!
